What this site collects
Visits. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views. It uses no cookies and does not identify you, so there is no cookie banner.
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block attacks.
Nothing else. The site has no accounts, no checkout, no forms and no advertising trackers.
Booking a call
The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com. It loads only when you open it with a “Book a call” button; until then, nothing is sent to Cal.com.
If you book, Cal.com collects the name, email and any notes you enter, and passes them to me so we can hold the call. Cal.com’s own privacy policy also applies.
If you email me, I keep the conversation so I can reply and, if we work together, to run the project. Google Workspace stores it on my behalf. I won’t add you to a mailing list.
Why I use your data
- To reply to you and hold the call you booked: my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- To run a project and invoice for it: to perform our contract.
- To keep accounting records: a legal obligation.
I don’t sell your data, and I don’t use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Only the services named above (Cloudflare, Cal.com and Google Workspace), plus my accountant for invoices. Some of these services store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK’s approved contract clauses.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don’t turn into work: up to 12 months, then deleted. Client records and invoices: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, object to how I use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email me and I’ll reply within one month.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how I handle your data, tell me first and I’ll put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
